There are occasions when it is appropriate to make a dedication to commemorate or celebrate an event. Trees for Teesdale offers an opportunity to mark special family or other occasions by the dedication of a tree. The tree used for the dedication will be native to the area to meet the aims of enhancing the local environment and to give the tree its best chance of survival. The tree will be planted within its own protective cage with an attached plaque enscribed with an agreed dedication. The photo below shows a typical example of a dedicated tree.

Although Trees for Teesdale will attempt to locate the tree where requested, this will be within the constraints placed by local land owners and the suitability of a site for a particular type of tree.
